Description:
The housekeeper works as a member of the CTCA Environmental Services contribution to positive patient outcomes. Position includes regular discharge, patient/guest room, restroom, departmental, general cleaning and other assigned scheduled cleaning tasks. All work is team in an effort to provide non-medical sanitation support as a done in accordance with standard procedures of the environmental services department in accordance with the hospital objectives. Use of cleaning equipment, commercial vacuums and all necessary tools, products and supplies.

Must have strong experience in Environmental Services, good communication skills.

Thorough knowledge of equipment used within the department.

Must have experience in housekeeping in a hospital.

Knowledge of chemicals and chemical safety.

Must be able to read and write.

High School diploma or GED required.
